Preferred Experience
- Hands on, current experience in managing large, interlinked, multiple landscapes of SAP system
- Min. of 5 years of experience in SAP R/3, ECC, XI and APO systems ( BW and others an advantage)
- Good understanding of monitoring tools like Xandria and/or Solution manager or similar tools
- Should have experience on various SAP application administrative task like
- Installations, patching and upgrade of SAP systems
- Application of support packs, oss notes
- Sap router configuration, instance configuration
- client copy, system refresh, transport management, user authorizations
- monitoring – batch jobs, daily/weekly system health check
- Performance tuning – sql tuning, indexing
- Should have experience on various database administrative tasks required of a Basis consultants like
- DB backup, restore, recovery using BRTOOLS
- Performance tuning
- DB upgrades
- Netweaver certified preferred
- ITIL foundation certification preferred
